TRADITIONAL - DIGITAL
Traditional Media
WHAT IS A TRADITIONAL PORTRAIT?
Everything done with paint, pens, pencils, markers and anything not done digitally is considered 'traditional' media. A traditional portrait is a physical item that you will have - either flat canvas, mounted canvas, art board, or paper depending on what kind of portrait you want and postage considerations.
These portraits are unique: there is only one!

Digital Media
WHAT IS A DIGITAL PORTRAIT?
It's like a traditional media portrait, except it's done on the computer using a graphics tablet (a pressure sensitive pad and pen) and an art program. The painting technique I use with the graphics pen is the same as I would use with a brush, and I apply paper or canvas texture to the brush strokes in the painting programs (I use Adobe Photoshop) so the result looks similar to a painting done in oils. IT IS NOT AI OR A PHOTO-MANIPULATION!
However, instead of a physical piece of art, you will be given digital files to keep on your computer. These can be printed if you want to frame the art, and kept on your devices - you can have multiples of your portrait!
